or Miss
The
Hit or Miss is at PENN STREET village which is inside the triangle formed by
High Wycombe, Beaconsfield and Amersham.
Best
to go M40 from central London. M25 is
easier from outer London.
The
best route from the M25 is come off at Junction 18 (Chorleywood) which
intersects with the A404. Follow signs to Little Chalfont, Amersham, and
then High Wycombe.

Keep to the A404 until, about two miles past Amersham, you go up a long gradual
right-handed bend (past the Crematorium); at the crest of this hill you'll see
the spire of Penn Street church to your left; take the next unmarked left turn
(if you miss this, there's another sharp turn left 400 yards further on).
Either will take you into the village.
The
Hit or Miss is the second pub you'll come to, the Squirrel also has a cricket
square in front of it.

to Junction 2. Then A35 north to
