Directions to Avebury
Allow 2 hours from central London
M4 to junction 15.
Take the A346 South for a mile then turn right onto the B4005 to Wroughton.
After 3-4 miles turn left (south) onto the A4361 and after 11 miles you come to Avebury.
The ground is on the edge of the stone circle – on the right as you come out of the village.

Ampney Crucis
M4 to Junction 15.
Take the A419 north towards Cirencester.
Leave the A419 at the sign to Cirencester. Go over a roundabout towards Cirencester then very soon after turn right onto a minor road which takes you back over the dual carriageway. After a mile or so look out for a sign to the left to Ampney Crucis.
The ground is behind the meet pub which is The Crown at Ampney.
